Beijing,June 27,2026,Members of Bangladesh’s high-level delegation visiting China and leading officials from relevant government departments held far-reaching friendly talks with the senior management team of ZhongQing BaoShang Group in Beijing.The two sides had in-depth exchanges of views and reached extensive consensus on deepening bilateral economic and trade cooperation,advancing high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI),boosting educational public welfare undertakings,and advancing infrastructure connectivity.

During the meeting,the Group’s principal person-in-chief noted that ZhongQing BaoShang Group always takes the actual development needs of countries along the Belt and Road as the starting point for its cooperation.In the industrial field,the Group attaches great importance to the structural advantages and growth potential of Bangladesh’s economy.Bangladesh is not only the world’s second-largest exporter of ready-made garments,but also boasts robust development momentum in emerging and traditional competitive industries including software and information technology,communications technology,pharmaceuticals,leather goods and footwear,and shipbuilding.Drawing on its comprehensive strengths in industrial investment,supply chain management,technology transfer and market channels,ZhongQing BaoShang Group plans to carry out in-depth production capacity cooperation with the Bangladeshi side,drive the optimization and upgrading of industrial chains,and support Bangladesh in attaining its goals of export diversification and industrialization.

Meanwhile,the Group will actively engage in infrastructure upgrading and educational public welfare programs in Bangladesh as supporting supplements to industrial cooperation.In terms of infrastructure development,it will leverage its expertise in engineering management and project operation to participate in the construction and upgrading of key facilities including transportation networks.In education,the Group will help improve school conditions in remote areas and cultivate local skilled personnel through diversified approaches.These measures are intended to build a sound hardware environment and talent pool for industrial cooperation,forming a synergistic effect featuring“industry,infrastructure and talent development”.
